Released quite spontaneously, inspired by thoughts about time and the loss of social contact. The song reflects modern everyday life, where there is less and less time for everything.
It reveals human wishes and desires that usually leave us unfulfilled, even when they come true. What we truly need and love most is right here, close to us.
Let’s shake off false feelings of fulfilment and move from the zone of modern loneliness into time spent with friends. The sun and the sea will be hard to resist, and so will adventure. The single charted high on Radio City and Radio Prlek.
From the morning on, we set out to hunt for the ideal day. Luckily, the sun always comes out and clears our view, but because we set ourselves high goals, our ideal day is often shorter.
Where pop meets rock, and soul meets funk, a sound is created that cannot be confused with anything else. Together, we don’t just play music, we create moments.
CADÓ’s repertoire is a blend of pop, rock, and funk, intertwined with South American rhythms and touching upon soul and blues. The lyrics are thematically diverse, reflective, and romantic, encompassing both lighthearted and serious themes.
The band was formed in May 2020. The name CADÓ comes from the French word cadeau, a gift.
Provided by the organizer: drums with microphones, guitar and bass amp heads with speakers, 2 vocal microphones with stands, 2 overhead microphones for percussion, 5 stage monitors and cables.
Brought by the band: guitar, bass, percussion (2 congas, 2 bongos, marimba, cabasa, claves), multi-effect pedals, a wireless in-ear system and a B Beat computer with backing tracks (keyboards, synths, brass, strings), click and video (HDMI).
